Central location is great and handy for Dar ferry. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Staff very friendly. Okay gym (no sign on door on 9th floor) and great bar, especially for sport. Unlike other people's experience, air-con worked perfectly and hot water good - just need to run the hot tap in the sink for a couple of minutes (as advised by the helpful porter) . We're a family from the UK and wanted to stay downtown and loved being able to walk the streets, included temple street with its amazing veggie Indian restaurants. But it's an African business hotel primarily, so bear that in mind. For its location and facilities we thought it was very good value. The fruit bats flying past at dusk (in July) was an incredible sight.

Big hotel with spacious rooms and free hotel amenities, lovely staff and possibility to use room service. There is coffee place in the lobby, bar at 9th floor, hotel is close to ferry port (within 10min walk). Many options in breakfast buffett, tanzanian ones as well as continental ones, so you should be able to choose.

Our room was huge and clean, and the shower had hot water. The hotel is walking distance from the Zanzibar ferry which was ideal. Staff were generally very courteous and twice when we were in the restaurants, someone came to make sure we were having a good stay.

Mostly everything. Rooms are sparkling clean and huge! You have to request cleaning, and they don’t expect tips for the Cleaning but please leave them something.Good location near the ferry, church, mosque, other hotels. Embassy’s are about a 20 min walk. Ask for a room on an upper floor.

Location is great. Less than 10mins walk from ferry terminal. Staff were very friendly. Room was good size. Bath room was huge. The top floor bar has fantastic view. Especially evening during sunset, thousands of fruit bats flying across the city skyline was amazing and great place to see them Evening entertainment was fun
